So, I've generally been an active person but due to school and such I have been significantly stagnant the past few years. In high school I ran cross country and was never that great at it and was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma. I was given an albuterol inhaler to do before running and it helped maybe slightly. Over the years I was given an daily inhaler of fluticosone and was to use albuterol before exercising. I don't feel like these have made a significant improvement in my breathing abilities.
My question is, does anyone else have exercise induced asthma. If so, what do you use to treat it that helps you? I'm going to the doctor in a few weeks to try to figure out a better regimen for me.
Thanks for any help, just trying to be a better version of me again!

Hey, I have the same issue, and it's not makeing a big difference but I carry the inhaler while running with me. If I got trubble breathing I use it and try to breath steady. If that happens I just slow down a bit 'cause it'll get better eventually. Try this, but please stop if you got real struggle.
But I hope your doctor has a better solution

Big hug (*hug*) and be save

I do this as well and it helps a little, but I usually have to slow to a walk and it seems that I just can't ever improve past this. My heart rate spikes and it takes while to recover. I recently had a fitness test and my cardiovascular health during a treadmill test was way below average. :frowning2: Guess I'm going to try to get a referral to a specialist to get a better work up.
