    Hi everyone

so a few weeks ago I felt a lump im my bum went to the doc and they said they thought i had internal hemroids but after that day I had no symptoms but I applied proctosedyl 3 times a day for a week took stool softners to make sure I wasnt constapated (I have IBS Im always constapated) and then I felt ok for a week and a bit I have since been taking metamusil and have been avoiding straining on the toilet but two days ago I noticed the lump feeling again and a pressure in my anal canal so I went to the doctor yesterday and she said its probably haemorrhoids and to go back on the cream and come back in a week. But that day after the appoitment I went to the toilet I felt a very prominat feeling of there being something there and I can still feel it especially when I walk and its itchy and if I bend over to open my sphicnter and I kind of touch/Push a finger tip in a tiny bit and contract I can feel something touching the finger. Im worried that this means it is a serious case it is prolapsed or at risk of prolapsing or is this normal for an internal haemorrhoid? If it does prolapse what do I do should I go straight to the doctor or??? What should I do to help get rid of a prevent haemorrhoids? Also im a really anxious person so im scared to go to the toilet in case i have to push so should I just avoid the toilet until im 100% sure its coming?
    Much Thanks

Your anxiety may be exasperating the issue. By talking with your doctor you are taking the right steps. If you have further concerns, you should go back and consult your doctor. If your doctor feels its necessary for you to see a specialist, I am sure you will be so advised.
