I'm curious. Most gay guys I know will usually wear some form of make up at some time in their life (outside of the theatre). Whether that's eye liner, foundation etc etc.

Have you ever worn make-up outside of the theatre? Do you wear it often?

I was going to say no untill i read about the theater stuff (I did use it there.. long story) so the answer is still no. =D

I don't think wearing it to the Rocky Horror Picture show necessarily counts, but that's pretty much the only place I've worn it/wear it.

I wear a little sometimes. When I need to go to an interview, am getting my picture taken, or am going to some form of performance (like concert/recital - mine or others), I'll generally use some foundation to hide any spots on my face (like acne, which, although I mostly don't get any anymore, there are still some small blemishes left behind).

I've worn eye liner a few times, but only because they make me . Not that I mind.

One time, 4 of my friend put make up on me while I was asleep.
Our teacher was absent and somehow sub teacher didn't show up so we had whole period just us. And I was so sleepy(as always) so I decided to get some sleep.

And next thing I know is I had make-up on. Though, it wasn't that bad...They just did few so no mascara or eye shadow.

The bad thing is I didn't realized it untill I met my gf at hallway:dry:

I think make-up is stupid, for guys and girls. So no, I don't wear it.

I do think it is a rather crazy idea, But if it is, then so is doing your hair, and wearing fancy clothes and jewlery.
Because they are all to make your appearance better, which is kinda a weird idea.

But i still like to make myself look aesteticly (awful spelling) Pleasing to look at:slight_smile: (AKA HOT) lol
so i dont have a problem with it, but for people who believe in a more natural look then it is a very weird thing.

I've never worn make-up (other than when on stage). I don't like make-up on guys at all, and I'm not keen on it on ladies either unless it is subtle.

I've worn eye liner and I like it... Mom hates it... so I only do every now and then. I wear black nail polish on days I feel like it. lol

My ex wares a lot of make up! ....of course he does drag now so that explains a lot. lol

I don't go farther then Black Eye liner... although... I would do more for a shits and giggles kind of thing... you know cross dressing with friends... nothing serious. lol I don't do drag.

OMG no - only a couple of occasions when a girlfriend made me up for a fancy dress party.

I don't know how girls can go through all that...

I have to agree here. While personally I prefer guys who don't wear it, really only see it as "just another thing people do to look better", similar to doing their hair, buying fancy clothes etc.

I have used a bit of cover up to 'cover up' a blemish / pimple probably half a dozen times in my lifetime. Otherwise, no.

Nope ive never worn makeup apart from on stage and i dont think i ever will, even to cover up pimples or anything, but thats just me so im not condemning it for others...My friends Bob, loves it on guys and won't say a guys hot unless he has eyeline eg the guys from Panic! and Fall out Boy (Bobs a chick)

For my birthday i was thinking about having dress up tho and me going as the Joker...then i would do the WHOLE face in makeup....hmm could be interesting
