    How much hair do you have? Either way I would suggest waxing - but the more hair you have the more likely it will hurt.

    Just take painkillers 30 minutes before hand.

    The reason I say waxing over shaving is that:
    -Shaving causes stubble within just 1 day
    -Shaving can cause the hair to grow back thicker

    Shaving is a short term fix. Waxing = planning for the future :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    WAX!!! As soon as I can I will... I just need the money

    Shaving will cost more eventually because a cheap disposable razor doesn't shave well... electric is blah on anything but a face really and the replacements for a nice one (I have a nice one...) are outrageously expensive...

    Waxing... lasts a while... you can plan to get waxed on a regular bases once you realize how fast your hair will return... (Weeks) and then eventually after you wax so much... you stop growing hair...

    Same with girls who wax/pluck their eyebrows... eventually the hair will stop growing.

    Really? thats always made it worse for me, i find the thinned blood (from the painkillers) gives me more red little irritation marks...

    really, they key for me when waxing is skin prep;
    1 soak the area in lukewarm water,
    2 try and relax mentally and physically while soaking,
    3 towel pat-dry
    and if you are doing it yourself using one of those at-home kits to make sure you;
    4 hold the skin taught
    5 DONT HESITATE

    its really not as big a deal as they make it out to be... me, personally, i barely feel a thing, seriously

    Wax if you have to. Shaving would look horrible when it grows.

    Talking about Nair I saw it in the shops today. Only $10AUD for 20 re-usable strips! Thats damn cheap.

    Anyone think its good to use or is it a bad thing?

    I would like to wax but I don't want to around my family. So when I move. =P

    trust me, that nair waxing reusable stuff isn't great, after a while, you'll find it doesn't work as well and it'll feel weird.
    Plus, if you have sensitive skin, i've found that using Nair can actually really irritate it (you could buy a cream that dissolves the hair) and so can Veet. Its only happened recently because they both changed their ingredient additives for the fragrance and the oils to "help" your skin.

    My advice, get it waxed proffessionally.

    Go round to a girl friend's place and do it. When you get back home be like "I sit still for FIVE SECONDS and she had the wax on me!"

    Me and my friends waxed my ex-boyfriends legs that way once lol, well we did one strip then he used it as an excuse to do the rest (^^)b No one at school made any comments about it, the most he got was a couple of laughs at how it happened.
