did you trim or shave? i tried shaving once and that itched like crazy, but trimming has always been fine and it looks a little less funky, there are some things that should be clean shaven, your private parts are not those things.

anyway, you could try some lotion or something. maybe that might help?

lol, oh uhm... well how short did you go? i trim and it never itches. maybe it'll go away after a day or 2 cause hair normally tapers down to a soft end cause the end is worn away but when you cut hair its kinda sharp so it pokes at your skin

Baby powder and loose underwear for a few days. Usually does the trick.

And next time, don't trim quite so close... especially in the summer.

The first time you either shave or trim down there, it gets really itchy. After the 3rd or 4th time you really won't notice anymore.

^ Go with that, or wait it out. It'll last a couple days.

as most people have said a little itchiness is normal and it'll go away in a day or so.

Try a good aftershave to prevent ingrowns, an I had good luck with using hair conditioner to soften the re-growing hairs. They itch less when soft. Good luck. The longer I stuck with shaving the easier it got. No problems now, but I know what you are going through.

Are you using a new shaver? An older one that has dull blades will cause the tips of your hair to become sharp and that can cause itching.

Try using a 2 setting instead of 1 it might help.
