So... how bad are briefs, exactly?

Ehh, I'm sure it can't be that bad. Men with low sperm counts need to keep the air cooler in that area, but the scrotum typically regulates the temperature.

I'm not sure about the restricting growth thing.

Just posting as another fan of snug undies.

 

Unless you have a problem with diagnosed low sperm count and you're wanting to have children, there's no reason to avoid briefs. You should wear whatever is most comfortable for you.

 

But for the record, boxer briefs are the sexiest.

 

I prefer boxers because they're just simpler, and easier to adjust without people noticing when I get uncomfortable. I've heard those rumors too, but I'd like to see something from a medical journal before taking that too seriously.

Do whatever makes you comfortable, the worst thing you can do is sacrifice comfort and overall happiness for some unverified claims.

 

Boxers are too loose to me, which I actually told someone at the Food Bank when we got on the topic of underwear (I Have NO idea how that came out, tbh)

I've never heard of issues with briefs unless you have issues with low sperm count.

 

I've worn briefs my whole life - I don't think you have anything to worry about. No issues with size or fertility here.

 

I'm pretty sure that the people that have these problems with breifs are also not wearing the right size of breif (considering the tighter the breifs, the better looking the package).

 

My brother had trouble with his sperm count and the Dr told him to stop wearing briefs. Try all styles of underwear. My preference seems to vary based on the temperature, my activity level, and what I feel like wearing. I don't think there is a cut made that's not in my dresser drawer.

but yeah what he said. except i dont keep all styles. because alot i dislike. but i had to find out some way. and people cant take each others words for it. cos different people have different willies.

 

They are said to lower your sperm count because the extra heat from being to close to your body all day is bad, but you're not looking to make babies then I don't think you have to worry.

 

I wear tight-ish jeans... the thought of wearing boxers with them makes me cringe. All that bunched up material- I wouldn't be able to stand it.

I wear those Under Armour briefs. They're so comfortable and come in several different styles- only problem is they're freakin' expensive. But they work for me.

on a clothing designer's website, let's say... andrewchristian.com they don't seel tighty-whities... they sell "breifs" it's the same thing with a different name. I don't quite know how it happened, but that's how it is >.>
