I would go see a doctor to get checked for jaundice. it sometimes, if I remeber correctly, can be due to blood parasite *not to scare you of gross your out*. It also can happen with babies if the baby has a different bloodtype to the mother, as that happened to my neice, but they were able to use light therapy and kept a close watch on her and helped it clear up so she could go home a few days after she was born.

I dont know any of the effects of not getting it checked, but better safe then sorry just incase it is jaundice.

If it is the white part of you eye that is beginning to have a yellow color, then yes, you need to see your doctor for further testing.

if it is jaundice, at least with my neice, they used a instrument that judges and charts the color of your skin for certain signs, as jaundice can show as a yellowing on the skin also, but to lesser extint than the eyes.

They might take blood samples though to see if there are any abnormalities or strange levels in your blood, so it should be fairly straightforward.

    hope everything goes well.

Just see a doctor. Either case, just go.
