Drink warm tea, lemon juice, and um just rest it up so it can heal faster.

Mix vinegar and honey together, heat it up, and gargle it. Might taste like shit but it helps.

Vinegar, lemon juice, warm tea, and honey. Drink as much as you can and just relax, dont try to talk, it will only make it worse.

Singers swear by ginger tea. And if that doesn't work, a cortisone shot usually does the trick.

Compliments of one of my singer friends:

Get a large, fresh ginger root and 4 to 6 lemons. Chop the ginger root, quarter the lemons and place them in a pan of water. Be sure the water covers the lemons and Ginger root. Simmer for 30 minutes, covered. Remove from heat and allow to cool a bit. Once it is cool enough to handle, strain the liquid into a jar or pitcher. Add 2-4 tablespoons of honey, put in the refrigerator and drink it throughout the day. You can drink it warm or cold. This is an old singer's remedy- many local vocalists swear by it.

This and having a mug of warm water with a tsp of salt stirred around and gargling it after breakfast, at lunch and a couple times in the afternoon/evening. (This really seems to help me)

Also if you can grab a pack or two of cough/throat losenges (like Cepacol).
