    im am not joking when i post this thread, im just curious.
    Do some people male or female wash thei pubic hair with shampoo to clean them or is it just a myth

    I use shampoo/shower gel 2 in 1 so I suppose I do wash my pubic hair with shampoo :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Well it would be kinda stupid to wash the whole body under the shower, but exclude the pubic hair .. right?
    I am not using hair conditioner on it though :wink:

    OMG how funny! I actually do that! *Blush*. I often think it's a bit odd... but, well, I figure since I am washing and conditioning my hair, i might as well use some down there too and make it all extra soft and shiney :lol:

    Omw.... Now that I think about it I HAVE done it a few times sub-consciously:grin:

    Don't do it everyday - that's for sure... I just don't think to do it:confused:

    Once in a while. I don't think it's a good idea to do it too often - I've heard that girls should be careful not to get any in their, er... more sensitive areas... because it can disrupt the natural flora and PH balance and lead to all kinds of problems.

    I wouldn't know, I don't have any or a very small amount- so no shampoo for me. :lol: Although I have heard it's not good for women to wash their genitals with a whole bunch of soap because it affects the chemistry and can casue infections.

    Wow, actually never thought about it. I'm shaved, so obviously the answer is no, but before I shaved it off, I can't say it ever crossed my mind.

    I use regular bath soap. It doesn't need shampooing or conditioning.

    a cosmetologist friend tells me there's actually special shampoo available for pubic hair. It's most likely just overpriced crap that's the same as regular shampoo but they claim it's different/better somehow. Won't catch me using it :slight_smile:

    Slightly off topic, the same friend also tells me there are now specialty hair dyes for pubic hair, and he's seeing increasing numbers of people come in to have their pubes dyed. He says this is actually a legit product because regular hair dye will make your pubes fall out.

    I don't. This is kind of a sensitive area for women, I use a special cleanser that is especially gentle and respect the natural flora.
