so i have been in and out of the doctors and had CAT scans, MRI's, and blood work, but the doctors still dont know what is causing my lightheaded feeling and my dizziness or why my hands and feet go numb followed by pain.... anyone got any idea :bang:
Hmm....maybe just poor circulation of blood....I'd say let's see what Kara says because I'm sure she knows the type of specialist you might need to see.
A herniated disk would be assoiated with symptoms in upper or lower extremities but not both. And it often is stronger on one side than the other. It would have also shown up on an MRI or CT scan. The symptoms are the kind that are very hard to diagnose since it can be hyperventilation/anxiety, circulation problems or a neurological issue. Are there any other symptoms that you have before or after the symptoms start? Do they seem to be triggered by anything- like something that you are doing, something that you're eating/drinking before, etc.? Kara is a he, btw.
not usually, just when i walk up stairs i get light headed and dizzy, and i notice the numbness and tingling are worse when im carrying my back pack or sitting for a long period of time. and the numbness and tingling are mostly my right side
