Well, after my recent incident of putting IcyHot on my pulled shoulder muscle, only to stupidly remember that I'm allergic to menthol, and I'm just now getting over the extra pain, I was curious if anyone else has any allergies to weird things, as to be honest, I've never heard of anyone else being allergic to it. :S

I'm also allergic to cold temperatures, which people often tell me isn't possible, but me and one of my sisters were diagnosed by multiple doctors, lol. Makes for interesting conversation, to be completely honest, XD

So, does anyone have any odd allergies that aren't everyday?

I have this too. I get hives on my cheeks and chin in extremely cold temperatures.

my allergies act up during large shifts in barometric pressure. my alliergies, as odd as it sounds, predict storms.

Starch and chocolate. Thank goodness they're only mild allergies though...otherwise I'd be dead.

Chlorine. Most people react to it a little bit, but even being near a pool can cause my eyes to get puffy, and I couldn't drink our city water without getting sick for nearly 3 weeks after they re-chlorinated it.

Apple skins. If I peel it the rest of the apple is fine, but the skins make my throat itchy as hell.

I'm allergic to awkwardness, in a sense, but if we're talking full on clinical, I'm allergic to nothing, except a single cat, when i was young, one cat provoked a reaction, no other cats ever did or have.
It probably just had rabies or something

Same here, found out the hard way when I was prescribed it after having a tooth extracted just over a year ago. Got 6 huge mouth ulcers and a rash on my face while I was taking it

My allergy to kerosine smoke's weird, since only my right eye seems to be allergic to it . . .

I'm allergic to something in Head and Shoulders shampoo.

It took me ages to realise it. I kept thinking I just got it in my eyes, even when I knew for a fact I never. >.< Oh how it made them streammmmm. :astonished:
