so, I've been thinking about straightening my hair. I have hot iron but it doesn't seem to do the trick. Anyone have any suggestions on what product to use?
You might stay away from the so called Straightening shampoos as well all they want is your money and don't work that well i should know i used one for over a year with poor results
I use a remington one with fibers over it so it does not break my hair or a Chi. It all depends on you and how much you want to spend. ALSO Chi silk infusion helps keep your hair down and also the new pantein curly to straight cream is great it holds down the frizz.
I've also been wanting to straighten my curly/wavey hair just to see what it would look like... I don't know if I want to spend the money on a straightener in case it turns out bad.
I have 3, 2 are Conair, they seem to work the best for my hair. I forget what the other one is... but it's zebra striped... and looks better than it works usually... unless I use straightening spray. xD It's better to buy one that heats up to 400 degrees. They work better than ones that heat up to 350 degrees. Also, in order not to fry your hair, avoid going over the same piece of hair over and over. If you let it heat up fully, you should only need to go over a section once slowly. Also, if you are not worried about price. Go to a hair salon and see if they have any Rusk hair straighteners. I personally go for the 1 inch ones.
