Lip Piercing? What do you think?

Not hot for me, but I can see why some could find it hot.

 

it's hot when you have long hair. that's my opinion, but it is up to you to get the piercing. You'll be the one living with it if you don't like it

 

I used to have something like that but it was two on the same side and it was straight rather than a hoop (I think I had the hoop too at one point). It's cool but if its the wrong size (like mine was) it can rub up against your teeth and grind it so make sure that it's the right side for one.

Two if you're going to get a hoop DO NOT PLAY WITH IT. I had the disgusting tendency to play with it with my mouth subconsciously and it didn't do anything at first but it eventually started to bleed. I got rid of mine just because I can't handle things in my mouth for more than 10 minutes (no pun intended) XD. Despite all I said though go for it! My friend had the straight piercing like that and she has had it for 2 or more years so it works for people. Just make sure its really what you want to do because once you got it in, if you take it out the scar stays there forever. I'm okay with it but its totally up to you

I have mine done. Same side as what you are wanting it. I Love it. xD get one! I have a bar in mine. The rings are a nightmare to work with if you need to take it out!

 

Lip piercings = hot! (Especially the place you want it).

Keep in mind it can get in the way during make out sessions (talking from experience haha)

 

Not hot for me - I'm just not a fan of piercings in general.

 

I love piercings... When they're properly taken care of.

The obvious answer is: get it if you want it.

I say generally not hot I think only some people can get away with it and others can't, though I don't mind a nice ear piercing, but its up to you.

 

I have my lip pierced, and from an insane amount of my own research, here is some advice:

If you plan to get a stud, DON'T. Pierce it with a ring because it heals better with a ring, and you can change it after.

Try not to play with it, and eat slowly, because you'll kind of have to relearn how to eat with it, and make sure you ALWAYS rinse your mouth out with distilled mouthwash after ever meal, snack, or drink that is not water.

It usually takes anywhere from a week to 5 weeks to heal. Oral piercings in general can either go two ways: your lip will either swell up massively and take ages to heal orrr it will barely swell and take a week to heal.

People that are thinking that it gets in the way with kissing. Never ever had a problem before! xD The other guy has always had fun with it shall we say. I would be lost with out mine now ^_^

 

I found out just recently (he had a lip stud, not me).
There was a few times i felt like i ripped it out, he said it didn't hurt at all so we just kept going. But it was awkward at first....
