As I have lost 2 friends and a teacher to AIDS I thought I take a moment to say the following please use condoms please ask them "do you use needles" "do you have any sores down there" this picture is worth a thousand words http://www.life.com/image/first/in-gallery/45701/the-photo-that-brought-aids-home :tears:
How heartbreaking :icon_sad: It reminds of me of how when Matthew Shepard died it brought a little more awareness to homophobia. People just really need to see uncensored things like that in order for them to get up and realize it's a problem.
I didn't feel anything when I looked at that photo. I've known countless people die from AIDS, seen them waste away, untreated with AIDS and TB. Sometimes I go to the public clinic, there, it is bad. Lines of pregnant teens, at least 25% of them with AIDS - statistically speaking. I'm completely de-sensitized to the whole issue. I'll protect myself though. South Africa - Land of the living dead.
That is really sad :/ There's something to be said for the unconditional love of family though. That's what I see in the photo.
yes there is i keep remembering the day I was on my porch and this kid comes walking by and starts yelling there's a Faggot Living here My dad went straight for his Korean War Rifle and tried to kill the kid i stopped my dad but never saw the kid again
