porn :(

I am with you i have also been addicted to porn....like once i was at my sisters house and she doesnt have inernet so i had my psp and i was like omg how am i guna see hot guys! so i took my psp to the mall and got some wifi and got on a site shut off got home and .......had a meeting with Mr.Hand lmao. But it is a problem like i would make my mom go out just so i can have some time .....or in the mornin i would be late sometimes cuz of me wankin. =(* im a addict

 

ive seen porn only 2 times and didnt like it. my brother has it on the net also some times but he said he likes it but i dont

 

Porn is amazing, there is no need to ween your self off of it, ok seriously, why wouldn't you want to look at some hot guy naked? Unless you are looking at porn 5 times a day and/or looking at some sick and wrong stuff (like child pornography) don't worry about it.

 

I used to be addicted to porn but once school started I have had lots of work and not lots of free time I lokmed at it less and less. Many people confuse wanting to look at porn when you have lots of free time as an adiction. Try to keep yourself busy.

However, it's all "stored" on DVDs... I rarely watch it. When I need "inspiration" I usually read stories. I don't think it's wrong to watch porn, although I admit that I used to be kind of addicted to it. I used it so that I didn't remember a particular guy a while ago (before that, I always fantasized about him). So it helped me...

 

There is such thing as too much porn but I mean that is when you are canceling plans and such just for porn.

Although I would like to note that so far I'm the only one legal to view porn... lol (besides Fred)

I personally find it fun to watch. Sometimes I get sexually aroused but unless I'm with someone it is just annoying. Usually I'll pick things out like if there is something in the background like a coke... I'll be like OOO PRODUCT PLACEMENT!!! lol Things like that. I make it fun with a friend. We look at it and laugh and find funny things about it.

For Example..
There are some attractive pictures and I was looking and this one guy all hot n smexy and is naked other then knee high socks and shoes... I want his shoes! lol he is absolutely hot and I want his shoes... lol Find something fun. Or this one guy was wrapped in caution tape... I now want caution tape! It would be fun to play with! Or this one guy has neon green undies... I want neon green undies. (Would be sooo much fun!)


I look at it a lot but a site I get on is basically myspace for adults. (Not going to mention the site because it is for 18 and older guys and is completely easy to get on and lie about your age...) It is funny.

 

A lot of the time desire (particularly for porn) stems from boredom and lack of anything better to do. Keep yourself preoccupied. Go out at nights with friends, watch movies. Most importantly tho', stay away from the computer when you can.

Im soo freaking addicted to it, yeah, before I joined EC, or myspace, most the tiem i was online to download porn, I own lots of porn, I just keep getting it, I can not watch the smae thing all over again, but I want to own them all, so i keep getting them as much as I can

Honestly watching porn changed me somehow, I can se taht I am more sexual somehow.... I may talk sexually sometimes....

Well, I still dont know, all I knwo is peopel say it's not good, taht's all, but, it sure relax sometimes

 

Anything can become habitual if engaged in often enough. Not everything is an addiction if we can't seem to get away from it, it can become a significantly ingrained habit that is hard to kick, but it can be overcome without physical symptoms. In order to do away with what is bothering you in regard to watching porn is to do something else totally. It requires about two weeks to begin to establish a new habit and about three months to have it become part of our automatic system and we don't have to make the noted conscious effort.

The other aspect is to change your attitude towards the porn as there is some place within your brain that likes it or finds it titillating enough to keep engaged in viewing. But if you were to change the way you really feel about it, then the changing of habit will pretty much stick. That doesn't mean you have to "hate" it, but think of it as something that you don't wish to engage in, then actually feel it.

Porn. Deffinately addictive and it can be over done(meaning owning it and using it). So far people have been right on the money about porn and boredom(lol, corny but lol) they go together like chocolate and strawberries. The most important thing is to remember is, its been said before but, occupy yourself and avoid all mediums of porn especiall the interweb. Im not telling anyone to stop completely, because id be the biggest hypocrite ever, but to quote my sis' high school principal "selfcontrol ladies"(Note im still talking to you guys and gals)

 

i never had any experince with this but i can say there are many worse addictions you could have. so as its still an addiction its not as bad so if you want to stop you can and if you don't want to it won't kill you.

I only actually watch it like once a month and the times I do its usually to well,you know

I haven't had an opportunity to view pornography since the internet is shaky on campus. It is not a big deal to me since I can clearly remember and "replay" the good pornography in my imagination when needed. So, I can be with or without it.

 

I use to do this in middle school because as young teenagers our bodies arent mature
and that is why we get random boners.
So doing it before school would help me not to get one during school because I have already gotten the urge out.

Porn is basically pretty much always the same, just different faces.

 

I've never found porn "addictive." But then I don't think I have a terribly addictive make-up; if anything I'm addicted to emotions, not something external. I've had alcohol but don't have a drinking problem, gone gambling but don't have a gambling problem, watch/read/seen porn but don't seem to have a porn problem. I dunno--my feeling from reading everything here is that maybe most people are overreacting? Not to say people can't ever be addicted to porn but my understanding about addictions is that one of the defining aspects of it is that it interferes with you living your "regular" life.

If you obsess over something, maybe because oh... most of society is very sex-negative and certainly porn-negative (which is insane because most people are having sex and consuming porn), I'm sure it can feel like you're addicted but it seems more to me like you're simply letting it consume your every thought rather than it is something you are compulsive about. If it's just that you do it when you're bored but other things can distract you from it, that doesn't sound like addiction to me.

What I mean is that if you consider porn bad, and then you realise you actually really get off on it, it doesn't seem like that big a step for people to get into some kind of negative feedback loop where you're essentially being driven by your guilt to look at more porn, because of course the forbidden is especially appealing to most people. Vicious circle.

I think mostly if people addressed their feelings of shame about enjoying porn, that would probably reduce any feelings of compulsiveness you had over it.
