You need to speak to another doctor or something because you could have a blood disease that prevents clotting the broken tissue....its a horrible disease...please check quickly(*hug*)

Sounds like you have a number of blood vessels close to the surface in the nose and yes it can mean they bleed easily. Most often these are located in the front part of the nose where the cartilage is, called the Kisselbach area. It probably won't hurt you to have things evaluated by and ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist. If needed, he can cauterize the vessels with laser and end the problem. Would definitely be worth your time, effort and money to have it done.

Keep your finger out of it.. ^^ just kidding... pick all you want. Hroo hroo hroo.

Anyways. I think you might just be coughing up blood because all the blood from the nosebleeds drain into your throat and since the nose and mouth are connected it's just coming back out when you cough or spit.

But yeah, go see a doctor about it anyways since it's not normal for you to get nosebeeds every day.

Get a second opinion, and make sure you are going to an ENT.

If this is stopping you from living your life normally and is happening everyday, you definately need to see another doctor.

This is'nt normal there is almost certainly something that can be done about it.

    Good luck.

many doctors are afraid to coterise blood vessels in the nose (I have had my fair share of crap about this same problem). I ended up going to a doctor when i was in europe, who just coterised it on the spot with some liquid thing.

Like Jayhew said - cautersisation. When I was your age I had the same problem. Any sort of straining and my nose would bleed... and I mean any sort of straining (work it out)!!

I'm surprised your docs won't cauterise. It's standard procedure or used to be. Keep getting 2nd, 3rd etc opinions. You shouldn't have to put up with it. :bang:

    Hope it gets sorted.

It could be various things which is why it is a good idea to consult your family physician. Two cases of frequent nosebleeds that I know of is a person who has allergies and uses a nasal spray, and the other is a person with hypertension (high blood pressure). Those are just two of the several reasons why nosebleeds occur, consult your doctor for a better understanding of your own situation. Remember an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
