I don't like eating vegetables, but V8 is rather good when I water it down. Is it healthy though? Particularly the low sodium variety.

I would still get the veggies if you can. Mix them into stirfries or salads you might like? You get a better variety and they don't have as much sodium and other random stuff.

But you could also make smoothies maybe? I love smoothie bars.

If you really do hate veggies then that is a way to go, the spdium is the bad stuff, but your getting the low sodium so thats good

I heard that fruit juices really aren't as good for you as people think. But idk if that is correct. If it is, then I assume it applies to veggies. Fresh will always be better than juice though I'm sure!

v8 is a good outlet, I like the v8 fusions as like a snack lol... but try mixing veggies into some of your favorite things, I have graduated from culinary school. If you tell me what your favorite foods are I can tell you how to hide veggies within them so you wouldn't even notice.

Its sneaky I know but I use it lol

V8 is much better if you add vodka.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a healthy drink though?

I guess you still get your vitamins, while killing your liver. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'd just like to have on record that V8 tastes like someone puked up a bunch of vegetables.

Don't view it as a replacement to solid vegetables as the fibre content is significantly lower, and I would expect that 90% of it is actually just tomato juice as this is cheap and can be used from spoiled tomatoes (just like apple juice forms 90% of a lot of fruit juices).

All ethanol is (which I actually just looked up)! So, I guess you've discovered a way to make drinking good.

I should send this to my friend who is one of those activists against drinking (crazy people) just to see her reaction..

Many studies show that moderate alcohol consumption, even daily, has beneficial health effects. Here's one such article: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Wellness/alcohol-abstainers-die-sooner/story?id=11524962&page=2

To the original topic, I like V8. Drinking V8 would be better than never having any vegg in your diet. Do you like chili and tomato pasta sauces? Those will get you some vegg in your diet too. Best health to you.

    I can't imagine V8 being that bad
And if you have so much that you end up with too much sodium, as long as you drink a lot of water (also of course there is water in V8) then you'll piss all the excess sodium out

I myself just buy the V8 fusion, which is mixed with fruit so it tastes more like a fruit drink.

you might want to borrow a juicer from someone to try out. We had one for a long time and got great kicks experimenting different flavour and such.
