Ok. I have had chest pains all year and the doctor has said that it may be a symptom of asthma. that was like months ago. now, i went again because i started getting the chest pains a bit worse...but all concentrated on my left chest. the doctar said this time that there might be something blocking the air flow on my left side. Either Nemonia(sp?) or heart problems (My family has had history on heart problems from both sides of it...) so have any of you experienced this or something similar? would you know what it may be? i'm kinda worried... I'm gonna get an X-ray tomorrow, so i will probably find out soon after that...
If your tall and slim it could be a collapsed lung. My bro had that and I'm gonna get it too most likely. But I think it happens when your a little bit older and the doctor probobly would of been able to see that...I hope.
The good news is that you are getting it checked out, and not just ignoring it. Whatever it turns out to be, getting it treated now rather than leaving it is the right thing to do. Please let us know how it goes.
Well, I have never dealt with something blocking the airflow or heart problems (besides heart burn and acid reflux), but I do have asthma. It isnt all that bad, and with a pill a day, I can go on functioning normally. Anyway, you are getting it checked out, and thay should be able to fix it before it becomes too serious, good luck with your x-ray!

Hang on in there, there is no point making it worse with worry. Try and take you mind off it by doing something that takes all your concerntration... maths homework or a science project, anything that will make the time pass quicker and stop you working yourself up into a state and getting all upset. (*hug*)
Don't worry! You've had this on-and-off for the last few months, an extra couple of days isn't going to make any difference.
Ok, today was suppose to be the day, but my dad took the car and mom sayd that we're gonna have to go in Monday!!!!! :eek: NOOOO!!!! I wanted to get this over with!!!!! :bang: if i don't get my results by wednesday (cause at this rate, heck, i might not even go! T_T) I'm a have a fit! :tantrum:
hang in there. it'll be okay. it can't be really bad if they're letting you get an x-ray next week. if it were more serious it'd be sooner right? anyway, good luck on monday!
They are talking about it potentially being a heart problem? Have they talked to you about doing a holter monitor on you? (As annoying as that test is?)
