regardless of how much water i drink.

right, so, about a month or so ago i stopped drinking 5/6 cans of pepsi per day and started drinking around 6-8 glasses of water. the first few weeks were easy and i felt great. this week though all i've felt is dehydrated. nothing has changed, i mean, i'm still drinking the same amount as last week and the week before that.

i'm pretty sure i'm not actually dehydrated, but i do feel a lot like i am.

any help and advice would be appreciated :icon_bigg

How does dehydration feel to you?

Are you eating a lot of salt?

Thirst might be a side effect of caffeine withdrawal? idk.

Try carbonated water to try and isolate what's causing it? At least after that you know it's not the carbonation that you're lacking.

Unless you're in the desert or you're doing heavy duty cardio, it's doubtful that you would have dehydration.

Most people measure liquid intake solely based upon what they drink, not accounting for the fact that most of the food we ingest is >85% water.

The general guideline these days is to drink water with meals and when you feel thirsty. And if you are craving a snack, ask yourself whether you are in fact thirsty since many people are unable to distinguish the sensations of hunger and thirst.
