Hey guys, sorry for the sloppy post, as I said I JUST took two Tylenol 3's. I got cut because of a medical inability to retract the foreskin. I just slept for approximately 2 hours, I'm not interiorly sure what woke me up. Could have been my dog, the TV or possibly I survived my first random night erection.

The pain so far is completely minimal, however for the next to days I will be under a heavy dose of T3's. I plan to remove the bandaging on Sunday, and return to school after a week off.

If no one would mind, I could keep a log of how I feel each day? I'd love to help

Hopefully they warned you that the swelling and discomfort are usually worse around 48-72 hours after the surgery. After that, it gets better every day.

Just keep your hands off until the doctor tells you it's okay.

Too bad they can't give you something to prevent an erection until it's healed and then maybe only partial erect until the skin can stretch out again. I can't imagine having that done at your or my age. It seems cruel to do it to infants, but at least then there's no erection issues. I hope everything heals up cleanly for you. Take care

omg they cut it off? I would be freaking out right now. That seems like extreme measures! Couldn't they just stretch it over time like those people with huge earrings?

I know a few people who need a circumcision for the same reason.

    Keep us posted!

    Hey everyone! Lots happened today.

I had to take the bandages off today and the way I did it was; I started with a shower to wash and get cleaned up. Then I put in the plug and filled up the tub. Taking the bandages off in the warm water was definitely a good idea, however once I got out of the tub I began feeling ver nauseous. I ended up throwing up which was quiet unpleasant. After that however the pain was gone, the only thing I found annoying were the "jolts" sent upwards from contact with the sensitive skin. This was something I was very worried about, but if any of you have the same problem I had (feels good to use pass tense) than it is the same as when a little bit of normal covered skin is touched.

I have been taking two tylenol 3 every four hours since removing the bandages which is definitely helping. I'm a bit concerned about sleeping tonight due to nocturnal erections, I am considering staying awake very late and sleeping intermittently on the couch with my mom tomorrow.

I'll keep everyone updated as best I can!

the nausea could be as a result of the drug you are on. T3 contains codeine which is an opiate, and most opiates' main side effect is nausea and vomitting. Lying down should clear your nausea. If it doesn't, call a doctor.

thankfully codeine also helps prevent you getting erections =)

Thanks guys for the responses! <3

Well I stayed awake tonight and along with that I was nervous to urinate as well. However by 4 in the morning I couldn't take it, so I tried it out and there is absaloutly no pain. Swelling is a bit but not as bad as I had expected. No bruising yet, however I imagine it will start showing up by this time tomorrow.

As far as nausea I haven't had any all day and was able to eat some chicken for dinner, so that all seems to have passed.

I'm still very worried about sleeping and erections, I was worried the first night when the bandages were on, and that made it so my penis couldn't become fully erect, however without the bandage I know I will be woken up in pain. I'm just not sure how much pain it will be. If it isn't a terrible pain I doubt I will have a problem besides the sudden discomfort, but I'm worried I wont be able to handle the pain.

If anyone has any tips on nocturnal erections postoperative please please let me know! Thanks!

If you don't mind me asking, did you have Phimosis? Is that why you got circumsized? Was that a last resort because I'm on Betamethasone at the moment, was you ever on that?

    Hello there!

Yes I did have phimosis and it was very bad indeed. I went to see the doctor and just from looking he told me circumcision was necessary. My glands had only been exposed twice in my life, both of which were last year. It was very painful and alarming so that's why I went to the doctor to begin with.

I slept today, and woke to a very painful erection, however after clenching my teeth and focus both the pain and erection subsided

    Expect nothing.
You should be fine and all this talk about erections is just blah.

I had a close friend who did it when I was in high school that I helped nursed his baby jebus back to health. Pretty much, there was nothing for me to do.

All you do is change ur bandage every night.
Wash it with warm salt water

and dress it and wrap it back up.
In about 3 weeks it should be completely healed up.

In fact, having erections will sting, but make the flesh accustomed to stretching from an earlier stage. Should not affect the healing process at all.
However, would advice to not think of anything exciting for a couple days until the bleeding is under control.

Eat LOTS OF fruits and vegetables for the next 2 weeks (especially natural green juices in the mornings, natural fruit --orange--juices now and again + 13 glasses of water 4 the day). It will help to speed up the healing process and let everything heal smoothly.

    Wishing you all the success,
    Alex.

Hey everyone! So a quick update.

I seem to be healing really fast which I am very grateful for! The night erections aren't that bad, I was so tired I would wake up count backwards from 10 and fall back to sleep. Luckily now that it is 5 days post opt. things should begin to clear up even more so.

I have to apply 2 coats of polysporn today, and as far as sensitivity it has lowered greatly and not to big of an issue. The stitches look good a little inflamed today but no bruising still.

The smaller stitches will disolve very shortly, while the bigger ones may take more time.

As always if you have any questions I'm happy to help.
