I feel a bump in my mouth and the sensation is that of growing a new tooth but I’m 21. Is it still possible to grow new teeth at young adult age?

The bump is in the back of my mouth where my back teeth (molars?) are

im going to agree with toneth, sounds like an impacted wisdom tooth. Not a big deal if they have to be removed, just a few x-rays and a small surgical removal.

yep wisdom teeth, they'll maker you wiser :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
You need to check with a dentist especially if they are not coming in straight. It's best that you get an xray now to see what direction they are growing in. I had to remove two of mines in the hospital because mines was a bit more serious and my dentist wouldn't do it in the dental office. Hopefully, your wisdom teeth will grow out normally unlike mines

Wisdom teeth suck, even when they're coming in straight.
Yeah, my last one that hadn't showed up yet decided to start growing the other day, two weeks before exams.

    Sounds like wisdom teeth alright.

While we're on the topic, When I was getting my braces, years ago, my dentist told me after an x-ray that I dont have any wisdom teeth. Is that normal? Are some people just born without them?
