use lukewarm water , DO NOT USE ICE or else your nerves will go into shock , try aloe vera later when it cools . hope you feel better soon .

    Exactly!

Never put ice cold on yourself when your burnt, it just makes it hurt/worse.

And you can use salt on the burn, to ease it down, but takes a while.

Aloe Vera is a plant, it has anti-inflammatory properties, you can buy the cream from your local pharmacist.

Ice makes burns worse. It further constricts the blood vessels and causes more damage. If you don't believe me, google it.)

Use damp cold rag. Sunburn cream also helps with the pain.

Thanks for the help guys. My hand is better now. Though, the stove element left it's mark on my hand, i hope it stays... it's hilarious.
