I need a workout plan which considers the following: 1) I can't afford to go to a gym. 2) I suffer from high blood pressure. It's not too bad but significant. 3) I haven't worked out for a significant period of time ever. Could someone help me, please?
- Jogging - Riding a bike - Walking - Push ups - Sit ups - Get some weights (they are cheap) - Running on the spot in your room - Star jumps
CrimsonThunder has just about said it all. All the things he has suggested are free or very cheap, the only thing missing is the motivation, probably the hardest thing to find. If you are lacking in motivation try to find a jogging partner this sometimes helps.
The workout plan above it great, but I want to recommend one more thing: pilates. A lot of people keep passing it off as being "ineffective like yoga," but it's great. I have a dance class where we do twenty minutes of it a day, and not a brag, but my legs look great. (Just kidding. They just look better.)
Or you could ask us for motivation! For example asking us for you to do certain exersizes each day. And then you coming here and telling us how it went. From looking at your pictures Mia, I don't think you want to lose weight just gain muscle? If so then I highly recommend weights. Theres so many things you can do with them! They will give you huge muscles in your arms and doing lots of running ect will give you muscles in your legs, sit ups will give you abs. And then you're all set and sexy. =P
