My pinky finger on my right hand has unusually swollen and red recently, it's not sore or anything, it's just flared up all of a sudden. I'm not worried however because I think I know the cause, it could be my circulation which gets weaker during the winter-time, or it could have got knocked or bitten somehow, anyway, my real question is, How can I reduce the swelling? Thanks!

When I played sports, we called it RICE. Advil also helps with inflamation of tissue as well. Since you said you have circulation problems to begin with, check with your doctor that this is an ok way to go.

    R- Rest
    I- ice
    C-Compression
    E-Elevation

Thanks for your help, I could always ask my mother as she works in the Medical field
