I feel like something is always behind me, watching me. I usually feel like this but it's easy to shrug off. But today was worse than usual. I keep looking behind me to make sure nothing is there. Even as I write this I look behind me. And I'm in my room which should be a secure place. What is going on? It is scary to feel like some nasty or evil thing is going to get you from behind.

Oh my God, I know what you mean. Lately, I've been terrified of the dark for *no good reason*. It just feels like something is there... watching me. Not cool, man, not cool. I'd love to know why this happens.

Paranoid? Just tell yourself that there is nothing there.... If it gets bad enough maybe see a psychologist.

I tell myself that but it doesn't help. I am not scared of the dark. I just wish it would go away.

I used to think people were looking at me through all the vents in my house--I would even cover up the registers on the floor with a rug when I went into the bathroom. Eventually it just went away, so hopefully yours will too!

I have not done anything bad at all I would feel guilty about. I think it might be paranoia.

Is there something you're anxious about? Sometimes when my anxiety flares up, I become super, super paranoid and I'll often look behind too. Hopefully with some deep breaths, that will lessen though! :frowning2: But if it does get bad, maybe talking to someone would help?

It has eased off but sometimes (about an hour or so a day) it comes back really bad.

What about location wise? Is it everywhere, or is it just at a certain location, like at home, school, etc?
