Sooo, I've been on Pristiq for several months now and it seems to be making life much easier to deal with. OTOH, I'm noticing some differences with sex. The biggest thing seems to be how hard it is to have an orgasm these days. Should I be worried?? Any thoughts?

SSRIs and SNRIs have sexual side effects. When the drugs first came on the market, the incidence was marketed as less than 10%. More recent studies have suggested that as much as 50% of the men taking these classes of antidepressants may experience side effects such as delayed ejaculation, difficulty with erections and lack of libido.

Mention the issue to your doctor and discuss whether the side effects are tolerable or whether you might want to dry a different dosage or a different medication.
