I have a doctor's appointment with my gynecologist tommmorrow at 10:00 AM.I know it is a must once a year and luckily my mother has not got on my butt for this since I was 18.I usaully set it before my birthday,I turn 29 next week and not lookining forward to this.I also have an appointment with my allergist at 3:00 PM for a check up,I am very alergic to cigarette smoke since I was 12 years old.My parents are glad I did this and proud of me.
Oh the old "put your feet in the stirrups and slide on down". We women endure torture. LOL It's important but not fun. I went to high school with my doctor's son. One day I was there for this procedure. He laughed when I made him turn his sons' picture around and told me he was going to tell him what I said. Oh joy.
Just out of interest, is there a branch of medicine specifically for men, similar to how this is specifically for women? Also, hope everything went well for you and good on you for taking the initiative to get these appointment...I really need to start taking more initiative like that, esp cos Ive had to get a hair appointment for about two weeks now and am still waiting for my mum to....this coming from an 18 yr old, how sad hehe

Both went well,had a pap test which I was due for with a check up and hopefully hear about the results in 2 weeks.The appointment with my allergist went very well too,had my check up and she is very happy what my boss has done.My boss made inside smoke free 4 monthes ago and people that smoke,smoke outside.I had a reaction 4 monthes ago,a guy had a cigarette near me smoking it and I coughed a lot.Went to the hospital,was checked out and was fine after the check up.I did see my allergist after that situation too.
We need to do regular testicular examinations though, which we can do ourselves. See the testicular cancer thread.
