So there's a 14,000 acre ((if not more at this point)) fire nearby. My college is very very close to the fire. I had ashes falling on me when I was out at the college. I have a history as asthma and I've gotten to the point where I can barley breathe. I do not have anything to treat myself because it has been so long since I have had an asthma attack and the medicine went bad so I had to throw it away. I do not have a primary care doctor... What should I do?
You should call a doctor and get their advice for this problem! I believe MedXpress or any type of walk in clinic has a number you can call. It could be dangerous, especially if you're alone! ---------- Post added 10th Apr 2012 at 01:44 PM ---------- For now I'd suggest staying indoors in a well ventilated area until you figure out what exactly you need to do!
I went and got an inhaler... but no I can't theres no telling how long the fire will go and Finals are soon
Ugh. I hate when wild fires break out. They kick up so much stuff into the air, it drives my allergies nuts. I usually just have to stay inside. I know you can do that hiking across campus, so I would recommend a respirator such as this for the time you are outside. Amazon.com: 3M 8210Plus Particulate Respirator N95, 20-Pack: Home Improvement
