    That is a very good point. Is it any sort of sexual contact with another person (so just using hands)? What about oral? Or does it have to be penetrative? If so, receiving, giving or either? What about sex with different genders - gay virginity and straight virginity?

    What about stuff you may have done with friends when you were a kid? What about (for those who have had the misfortune) abuse by an adult while a kid, or rape?

    We probably all have different opinions on that. We may think we have lost our virginity more than once if we consider different forms of sexual contact. I do - by hand when I was 10, oral when I was about 11 and penetrative with my current partner.

    Uh... I think the numbers the first poster gave were AGE at which they first engaged in _blank_. Not number of times they've engaged in _blank_.

    But to answer the main question in the thread:

    I'm a virgin *gasp*
    I've had plenty of boyfriends, a lot of whom really wanted to have sex: so I can safely say it's a choice. Mind you, I'm sexually active (after all, I'm only human), however, I view my virginity (penetrating/pentrated) in a high regard. It's my innocence (atleast thats what I tell the police :wink:). I guess I'm just waiting for the right person to come around. But then again I'm a very pro-relationships sort of guy. Sleeping around with randoms just isn't me. I don't feel a pressing need to have sex with someone I don't care for.

    Oh - and for the record (since someone else posted this) my first *real* experience with a guy (not mucking around when you're little) was when I was 12.

    I'm not a virgin. I was 17 when I had my first time. It was with my long term boyfriend.
