So I recently spent several weeks in a hot desert climate. Now that I'm back, I'm sweating a ton, even though it's relatively cool. I was wondering if my body might be overproducing because it was conditioned to in the desert.

    Could be humidity..

Desert climates are hot, but its a dry heat...so it feels cooler than a humid place (even if that humid place is actually a bit cooler) and you sweat less.

It's probably the change in humidity. In the summer, evaporation is one of the ways that the body cools itself. In the desert, this is very effective. In a humid climate, it's very difficult.

There are other things that can change the way that we perceive temperature. Several medications can alter temperature perception, as can viral illnesses.
