Hi guys, I just realized this.
Many times a day I feel sick to my stomach (never get sick) just upset. Normally after eating or at nighttime. I just realized that I subconsciously do something to make myself feel better. Does anyone else just go to watch something funny, and then feel better almost instantly? This happens to me all the time. If I am not feeling good, I'll go up to my room, turn on youtube, and just go to my subscribers list. Something there always makes me feel better for some reason. I just did this again right now, and here I am posting about it. Does this happen to anyone else? And if anyone knows, why does this happen?

Thats usually what I do as well. My guess is if you have something to laugh at then nothing can be as bad as it seems, so that fact unconsciously makes you feel better.

Yeah, its a pretty weird system. Maybe Its because I stress myself out a lot and then that makes myself feel sickā€¦ I'm not sure.

I do the same, a bit of light hearted comedy distracts you. And you stop feeling sorry for yourself!

As a comedian, I am often one to extol the virtues of laughter as a form of therapy and healing. I've yet to find a situation where laughing at something has not made me feel better, if only temporarily.

The same for me, I love to smile, it's contagious and pretty soon one happy person lightened the mood at a funeral.

I had a pretty rough day today, so I watched a lot of David Mitchell's soapbox. Nothing cheers me up like a really entertaining rant or two, it seems.

Yeah, I do that too. It's because laughing makes us feel better...it just does. It's the chemicals in our brain, biology, etc.

What never fails to make me laugh and make me feel better is watching clips of Ellen DeGeneres on YouTube! Whether it's her interviews, her silly pranks, or whatever else...she's just hilarious.
