Seriously... I haven't been able to warm up for almost 3 days now... Hot showers, sweats and blankets haven't been able to warm me up. I'm snuggling and covered in goosebumps because I'm cold...

Anyone know what's up? Or how I could possibly warm up??

Well, what temperature is it? I can't imagine it's that cold, given that Montana which is considerably farther north feels fine right now.

Therefore, I wonder if you need to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Which is not bad. Do you have a fever or anything? :/

^ just to throw onto this, apparently I had a fever today (my mom came into my room and declared it, as I was unaware), so I was freezing the whole day, even though I didn't really have any other symptoms.

Do you usually respond this way to changes in the weather or is it something new? And- as BudderMC hinted- have you taken your temperature?

Are you particularly sensitive to the cold? I am, so I know what you mean. I go to school in San Francisco, and it's beyond freezing to me. I wear long socks, basketball shorts under fleece sweat pants, a t-shirt under a long sleeve thermal shirt under a fleece sweater under a fleece jacket, a scarf, a beanie, and gloves with a portable heater on, and I'm still cold   Haha

I was told to eat lamb meat and drink goat milk. Apparently, their meat is like the best thing for making people warm. People who live in below zero temperatures eat that to stay warm. I tried it, very reluctantly, and I didn't like it. But, if you're open to it, you could try that. I don't know what else to suggest except put on more clothes and sit in front of a heater. Ohh...actually, drink hot things. That really helps warm up your body from the inside, which is more effective than layering on the outside.

Sounds like an infection of some sort. I had the same thing. Shakes, sweats, couldn't get warm. Had a kidney infection. Does antibiotics and got back to normal quicky.

Get hydrated. If you are severely hydrated, you can have trouble regulating your body temp.

  10. Hun, get some warm tea. It'll help. I would also check to see if you have a fever.

I'm sorry your not feeling good :frowning2: I hope you feel better.
