I feel really stupid but what is the difference between ....

    What's the dif between HIV and aids they tea hit at school all the time buti never understand ... Don't think I'm stupid

    I believe HIV is the virus, and AIDS doesn't come until later (months/years after you get HIV. Like, HIV is stage 1, and AIDS is stage 2. Don't take my word for it though, I could be wrong.

    HIV is the virus itself, AIDS is the disease it causes. It's not a stupid question; I used to not know the difference myself. :slight_smile:
