Pins and needles when I sleep

Quite frequently when I sleep I get some really painful pins and needles only on my left side.

I've read some articles and they say it might be a stroke :icon_sad: so that doesn't sound too great...

    Any suggestions?

  2. Well, the obvious question is: Which side do you sleep on?

I had the same thing. I mentioned it to my doctor and she didn't seem concerned.

It could just be the position you sleep in. I get it sometimes when I wake up in an awkward position.

Do you have any pain or numbness when awake? If not then I would suspect your sleeping position is putting pressure on a nerve.

How old is your bed, does it give you proper support. If you can try sleeping in a different positon.

My entire left side gets pins and needles. My face and crotch too... My bed is 6-ish years old and is pretty stiff. This is in the middle of my sleep and it usually wakes me up from my slumber.
I don't feel any pain or numbness when awake.
I hope it's nothing too serious...
