Recently, I've been having a couple of strange breathing moments, which I think may have to do w/ posture. At work, these episodes where I almost feel a shortness of breath, as though, I try to deeply inhale but can go about 75% there, & don't really feel 'refreshed' w/ fresh air. When i get back to the house & i'm on here w/ my laptop, i have my back against the wall while on my bed w/ some pillows behind (therefore, a slight slouch). I've done this for about a week, which is around the time these moments happened.

Right now, i'm trying something different, like laying w/ my front face down while i'm on here, and it seems to be working a little. So, would slouching or forward leaning posture have any lasting effect on breathing? Or am i really just answering my own question.

    Thanks.

Yes, slouching constricts your diaphragm and makes breathing more difficult.
