I have an appointment to see my doctor on Tuesday and I'm going to ask her if I can get a perscription for champix. I have been smoking for almost 5 years and its starting to affect my health and my wallet. I have tried to quit a few times, cold turkey and with nrt, but failed. I have read a lot of Champix success stories and am hopeful it will work for me. My concern is that I have had mental health problems in the past and am still taking antidepressants. It's zispin (mirtazapine) that I'm taking now, I don't need it for my mood but my living environment is very stressful so I don't want to come off it and relapse. Plus I can't sleep without it. Has anyone here taken champix and did it work for you? Did you have side effects that messed with your mental health?
