Ill been coughing really hard since last Friday and only continues to get worst. This morning I woke up to no voice. Plus I have bad asthma. My lungs are full of fluid I can feel the fluid when I cough and my chest hurts. I'm not sure what to do. Anyone have any ways to calm a cough down

Be careful that it's not pneumonia. I've had it a few times and it's not fun but it's easily cleared up with antibiotics.

Go to the doctor as soon as possible. Fluids in the lungs are really bad things and should be treated with urgency.

I feel your pain.. I get bronchitis a ton and I had pneumonia in August. I would get to the doctor ASAP. You don't want pneumonia again...

Coughing is your body's way of clearing your lungs and preventing infection. The problem with people who have asthma is that the constriction of the bronchi prevents the coughing from being effective. So, given your history you should try to see your doctor before your symptoms get this bad.

Do you have an as needed inhaler you can use to open up your lungs? I also advise going to your doctor, or at least an urgent care center.
