Personally speaking, I also had a lot of pain, hips, back, wrists and shoulders, my doctor shrugged it off with off handed comment, i had to insist that helped me, even to the point of threatening to report her. she ended up forwarding me to a specialist who told me it was in my head, i said to him i wanted to talk to his superior, in the end he sent me to yet another specialist who took me seriously. after a series of tests i was diagnoised with alpha one anti trypcin deficiency, sjogrens syndrome, ITP, periphial neuropathy, arthritis of the joints, and they also diagnosed a condition that led me to having a liver transplant..

short answer is, if you feel there is something 'not right' with your body, then pursue it until you get an answer. in the mean time try dropping a few pounds but all the time pursuing the problem.

i know that if i didnt pursue my problems, i'd be dead now..
