    Hi everybody,

I was diagnosed an aspie last year. I've always had troubles with relationships and love affairs. And even if I've started masturbating when I was ten, I've not engaged in sociosexual behavior till I was 29 yo. From then I've been a little promiscuous, I've never had too much sociosexual activity, but I've changed many partners as one night stands cause I've always been emotionally and phisically disappointed by those experiences. I've continued to masturbate a lot, and being addicted to online pornography. But when I fell in love I was love addicted too, and it hurt my feelings. Are there any other gay and promiscuous aspies?
    Thanks.

hi there..my partner is a 'gay aspie' but not promiscuous;although I can recognise issues of emotional 'disappointment' and 'love addiction'...that seems to be a trait of people with Aspergers?

Yes, @aspiecarer, they can be issues for aspies, cause aspies have usually problems in understanding the emotions of themselves and of partners due to their poor management of theory of mind. But I was wondering if promiscuity for gay aspies may happen the same way, I know it's unusual and it's not one of the main characteristics of aspies, but here in this community I might find someone with the same problems I have. Who knows?

I simply find relationships too difficult to pursue, so I've decided to just wait until it comes to me, rather than actively seek it.
You'll feel rather lonely, but it's better than the mess you repeatedly get yourself into.

    /I have Asperger's m'self.
