Mainly biting my nails. Whenever I get nervous or anxious I bite my nails. Which is often.

I should probably see someone about my anxiety problems. Who should I see about anxiety problems? Psychologist or psychiatrist? I was seeing a psychologist...but I had to stop. I want to go back when I can.

well it would certainly help your mental health to try and reduce your anxiety, do you know what triggers it?
SIDE NOTE, sally beauty supply makes this nail polish called hoof it, its a bitter tasting nail polish that makes it so that you are not biting your nails without knowing it, it makes sure that you are consciously aware of the activity, which gives you the opportunity to stop it.

It is a completely normal anxiety response to bite your nails, I think most of the world does it. I had pretty horrible nails but the moment I came out to a friend I pretty much stopped, bizarre really as I did'nt make a concious effort to stop I just did.

I have no idea what triggers my anxiety.

When I chew gum it doesn't make the anxiousness go away :-/

What do you worry about, then break it down to what do you worry about more/less than anything else. See if you can find what is your main worry, be it health, wealth, education or whatever.
