So me and my guy were cuddling in bed one day and he said that "I am his lovely twinkie boyfriend."

I never thought of myself as anything other than gay so I asked him what he meant and he said "You're cute, skinny, well equipped :rolle: and you're all mine"

I guess I am skinny but blah to the rest.

Is this a complement or winding me up

I think Twinkie or Twinkie is considered a good thing. It's a young, thin, cute, gay guy. One of my gay guy friends calls himself a Twinkie. Take it as a compliment

I don't honestly know... I will say if I had a boyfriend, I'd probably let him get away calling me anything. Just as long as he doesn't call me late for dinner.

Isn't it a Gay Guy, who is in his 20's but looks like he is in his Teens, so I suppose it is a compliment, I have always looked younger for my age by about 5 years & I always love it when people think I am younger

Twink is generally considered a positive term in terms of appearance, attractiveness, and so forth. It implies young looking, slender, not a lot of body hair. I'd take it as a compliment

And enjoy these days because a lot of small twinks grow up to be big bears.

I'm over 40, and I still sometimes get asked for ID when buying wine or beer. I don't know if I should feel flattered, or irritated. My thinking is more the latter--it should be pretty clear that I am not only over the hill, but skidding down the other side...

I think it was a joke on Burns and Allen (American comedy show of the radio/early TV eras) when Gracie Allen (who was portrayed as being...not too terribly bright) was asked for ID. She looked in a mirror, and said, "yes, it's me!"

That would be me....I wish I were out in my twink days....how I long for them

(of course, I'm just about ready to get below 200 for the first time in years, so that feels good )

Yup. Sometimes in their mid-20s. Though I have a couple friends that in their late 20s that you'd be hard pressed to guess are over 23... it's really luck of the draw.

Ironically, they lose hair from some places and it miraculously appears on other places. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

^This. Though, I haven't heard "twink" used as "twinkie" before. Lolol.

Aaannnd, that's just personal preference. I take pride in my body hair and even though I'm thin, I am not a twink. No disrespect to those who think otherwise about the term, though.

Any word can be negative or positive - it's all in the context.

In this case, barring the use of extreme sarcasm the likes of which only my eccentric existence could legitimize, it appears your boyfriend was complimenting you, and very affectionately so .
