Tonsil has like a little white lump my ear hurts tonsillitis?

    Ugh I noticed it the other day and now It is hurting my ear. My mother had tonsillitis at my age is this what it is :frowning2:

    It could be a tonsillolith, AKA tonsil stone.

    It's basically bacteria and mucus built up in the nooks and crannies of the tonsil. I get them quite regularly, they are harmless but can be very smelly.

    I do get earache also, I assume that's because they're connected.

    If they're tonsil stones Googleing will tell you to take a q-tip and try to dislodge them. My gag reflex is pretty strong though so what works for me is using a waterpik to blast them.

    Given the symptoms that you've described, you need to see your doctor. Even though we're in the midst of spring allergy season, if you're seeing a white film in your throat and you're having ear pain, it's something that your doctor should take a look at.
