Crohn disease is a chronic bowel disease where areas of the bowel are inflamed. I have it . My question is will it affect being on the bottom during sex? I don't have a boyfriend or anything so it's unlikely to happen soon but I'm just curious.
I can't say I've ever had anal sex and Crohn's disease, but I've had a medical issue showing similar symptoms. I would imagine it would be more painful than the usual if you ever bottomed; it would also irritate the tissue and cause more inflammation and eventually fissures (which suck). If you aren't flaring or had resection or any manifestations down there it should be safe. Just be slow and use condoms and lots of lube.
