Alright, I shower atleast once a day like most other people. But I feel that I speak for some when I say you just sometimes need to relax in a nice hot bath and melt your cares away. But for some strange reason I feel... weaker when I get out of the tub, like I just dry myself off really quick, drudge up the stairs and plop down on my bed, and just breathe really heavy for awhile and then like 5 minutes later I'm good to go. Anyone else have this issue? Is it a condition or something I should know about? Or what?

I usually gradually raise the temperature as it starts to become cooler until it doesn't go any further, then I turn the water off and just lounge for maybe 15 mins or so.

your body will shut down if it gets too hot. Samething happens when I go running or soak in a hottub for too long.

It's not strange. Bathing relaxes your muscles and lowers your heart rate. So it's natural to feel weaker when you get out of the bath.

i don't like bathing. i just don't like how it feels, plus if my parents or brother walk in on me taking one, they would be pretty weirded out. i do, however, like hot tubs

There's something about swimming in your own dead skin and hair cells and bacteria that isn't appealing, right?

lol If you want to get all technical.. But even if we're gay (Or at least partly) that doesn't mean we have to act like girls when it comes to worrying about the small things in life that wont kill ya

They won't kill me, but it's a hassle and comes with a lot of mental squirming.

I suppose not, but it's not something that has bothered me too much. Besides, for a huge chunk of my life, there was no other choice: no place I lived from about 11 until I was in my mid 20s had a shower. It was funny thing actually having a shower again...it seemed so strange.

Maybe one can get cleaner with a shower...but it won't last long in any case.

The issue is more about after the shower or bath. Sooner or later, bacteria is back on one's skin. Sooner or later, there are dead skin cells.

Sorry, I had misunderstood. I just don't feel clean after bathing compared to a shower. Though it's different if I shower first then bath afterwards.

If the bath water is hot, some people do get a mild hyperthermia that causes lowering of the blood pressure temporarily. The same thing can happen from a hot shower. This can cause light-headedness, near-fainting, rapid heart beat or fatigue. Usually, laying down and cooling off is all that is needed to recover.

I have a question: is it dangerous to masturbate while in this physical state? Because I did once, combined with only a few hours of sleep, and can swear I almost passed out right then and there.

It probably won't happen again, but I had to be sure.

Partially depends on how aggressive you are, and how hyperthermic you are at the time. "Passing out" can be one of the body's responses to help reduce movement induced heating of the body. Keep in mind, a hot bath or shower is effectively disabling the body's cooling system, especially if the room is getting steamy. Also, depending on how aroused you are, orgasms can induce one to be tired on their own. Combine the 3 factors - light headedness and/or near fainting due to hyperthermia, tiredness from orgasm, and tiredness from lack of sleep, and well......

I take hot baths and oddly enough, being a girl doesn't seem to hinder it.

"Dangerous" might be an overstatement but it is quite common for young guys who have sex (including masturbation) in a hot shower to get light-headed to the point of near-fainting.

So, if you're one of those guys who does get dizzy or light-headed when masturbating in the shower, it might be better of you found another place to masturbate since a fall in the tub can cause injury.

Why is that acting like a girl?

OCD is present in both genders.
