I've tried Biore(any strips actually), but it never worked for me. I also thought about the pro active products, but my cousin tried them and it made her face worse. I am still debating on that for myself though.
Proactive=No. I have bad acne in general and I use Epiduo. It works pretty well. Blackheads are usually gone by using pore strips.
Elmer's seems like it would work great for blackheads. However, I'm not sure if I'd use it on my nose for fear of excess fume inhalation.
