I need a bit of help solving my little problem. I thought I was gay. I still consider myself gay. BUT, I have always crushed on gender fluid people. Mainly naturally born females. I don't know what this does to my sexuality. I need help figuring out what to present myself as. Not just "Oh, I'm gay but I like gender fluid girls too." Is there a specific term I can use? Thanks a million!

Hmmm... I suppose polysexual (more than one gender, but doesn't take into consideration there only being binary genders) sounds pretty right to you. That way you can identify as gay, but also accept your liking for non-binary people.

It is similar to bisexuality, but doesn't see their liking of gender as strictly to 'male' and 'female'.

There's a handy Wiki page here

I tried using the label pansexual but it just tended to confuse people. I'm an open-minded bisexual.

I like the term queer because it lacks specificity. It just says I'm not straight. sexuality is complicated. I'd rather go with the flow then drive myself bonkers trying to figure mine out. Once I stopped trying to understand mine so hard, it made a lot more sense to me.

I know that polysexual is more technically accurate, but no one knows what that means outside of EC. If you introduce yourself in real life, you'll probably want to use "bisexual" or "gay."
    Though on here polysexual works.
