So I've been on hormones for almost a year now, but I just switched off my zoloft, and suddenly whenever I watch anything I feel bombarded by emotions.

I just watched the "The Angels take Manhattan" episode of Doctor Who and spent the last 10 minutes of it with tear literally rolling down my face. Whenever I watch Orange is the New Black, Adventure Time, or anything it seems, I just turn into an emotional wreck.

To those of you who have had a longer experience with estrogen, does this seem normal to you, or am I getting hit harder than you'd normally expect.

I can't offer much in the way of substantial help but I have heard that mood swings/heavy emotions are a common part of estrogen.

But just wanted to say, you sound just like my mother.
