I wonder this all the time. Why am I gay? Why am I different from every one of my friends? No offense to the others on here.
I used to ask myself that too. I believe its by nature; I was already the weird one out of everyone around me, so being bi shouldn't have came to a surprise ig. I'm curious, what made you ask? Is it mainly because you're different than your friends?
There's just no clear answer to that question. Some research say people are born gay because of the hormones in the mothers womb. Others say it's a gene. Others think you aren't born gay, that it instead would be because of some social factors. I myself believe we are born gay because of what happen in the womb. Anyone saying it's because of the social factors don't know nothing. I was raised in a heterosexual family with two macho big brothers. Didn't change the fact I liked dressing up as a girl at 5 years of age.
Well my best friend is 20% gay and her friend is like 80%. But the problem is that instead of falling in love with a girl, I have to find a gay or bi guy. And that's hard because I will get bullied if I make the wrong choice.
Yea, I know what you mean. Even though I'm kind of conceited, I haven't had a boyfriend since I was seventeen. I think you gotta be out to find a man. ---------- Post added 15th Nov 2013 at 07:10 AM ---------- And from my past experiences, bullies are usually the ones who want you the most.lol jp
You are gay for the same reason other people are straight, whatever that is; no one yet knows why some people are and some people aren't, but we know it is not something we can choose or voluntarily change, just as we cannot change our height or the sound of our voice. A better question is why do some people choose to bully you for a trait you cannot change? Why should our society put up with that behavior? Increasingly we aren't.
You were created and made the way you are. Probably a blunt and short answer but it basically sums it up...
