Recently I was searching for how I could Identify my sexuality cause I was genuinely confused, I'm turned on by both genders but hate sex, the thought of it annoys me and sometimes disgusts me. Hence I thought I was asexual, but after describing myself to someone they said I was a "Bi-romantic demisexual" and I have no clue what that is? If I tell anybody thats how I identify myself wont they just be confused? Argh the more I find out the more stressful life gets:bang::***::***::***:

If you don't know what it means, how can you tell someone else that's how you identify?

It's not someone elses play to tell YOU how you identify. If you currently identify as asexual, go with it. You know what's in your head, why add a bunch of labels to it!

  3. That is the thing with labels

they help others figure out if they can get involved or not (with me - lesbian say men go away)

so I always understood - asexual as no interest or need for sex at all - you still can have a need or desire for relationships

Demisexuals are those who can be interested in sex however they need to develop a loving relationship FIRST

I classify myself as demisexual then, its not that I never want to have sex, I just dont like the idea of it, especially being promiscuous and not feeling love for the person you do it with, and Thanks again
