I am a lesbian well at least I thought I was, but I am now falling in love with a transguy and I really don't know how to handle it. I need some help, and the thing is if I do tell this person how does that work and all because I know they are still transitioning.:bang:

  2. you might be in love with the idea of him as he is still transitioning?
well wjatever the case you could tell him and see how he feels if of course you feel it wont ruin your friendship.

Maybe you aren't as "gay" as you thought you were. Few people are exclusively heterosexual or homosexual, though there does tend to be a large clustering NEAR the ends of the scale. I have a friend that's married to a guy, and if you only went by the people she's generally attracted to, you'd consider her a lesbian. But, she truly loves her husband (a straight guy). So don't let yourself over think things. You like who you like. Period. End of story. Don't be a slave to words.

I'm gay and I think transguys can be very attractive. Though as a gay man my attraction is probably significantly different.

I've also noticed that there is less of a stigma attatched to gender nonconfromity in the lesbian community as opposed to the gay community. Of course there is still a big difference between a butch lesbian and a transman with a male gender identity.

I wouldn't be conerned with labels and if it confuses people. People need to be confused!

No we are men, Gender is between the ears not legs, Me personally I don't date lesbians, Their are some who and their are some like me who only date straight girls and bi girls, It really depends on him though, We don't wanna be seen as girls, We don't behave like girls nor do we have sex like girls, And if he's pre op then that's povaly why you like him because h may still look female which will change eventually but again it's how he feels

Oh well then its still no, Parts don't determine what we are as in male and female hence intersexed people, So he's still a guy just with the wrong parts

I'm not saying that parts determine people i'm saying that maybe this person is till in the process of transiting body wise to male . I'm not saying they aren't male

It's how you worded it then, Because you said arent they still female which I'm sure any other transguy would have gotten offended alittle, Just a misunderstanding

I understand what you mean by him looking female but then again I dont lets say I like a cis male and he looks female i would not consider my self straight I would still be gay.
